Friends and Family-
First off, I have apologize for being so MIA lately and not writing to you all. P-day is a busy day and we can't seem to find enough hours in the day! But- I am back for good. (Hopefully!)
Second off, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I know I did! Lots of things have been different the last few weeks so I will do my best to catch everyone up :)
On the 27th of December my companion and I were put into a trio with Sister Ashcraft from Idaho. So for the last about 2 weeks we have been working with the three of us. I has been so much FUN and we have seen a lot of progress in such a short time!
Sadly, the trio will be split up tomorrow because Sister Ashcrafts new companion will be coming in. That is okay though! Sister Conley and I are excited to get back to the Island and start working there again!
We had a pretty exciting week with teaching and finding! Sister Ashcraft has been working with a women for quite some time and this past week she was interviewed by President Craig. We were expecting that her papers would take a few months to come back from SLC her papers are ALREADY back and she is okayed to be baptized! This women as been through so much and has put so much faith in Heavenly Father over the last 6 months of her life and soon, she is going to be able to enter into the waters of baptism. Working with her for these past two weeks has reconfirmed to me that the Gospel of Jesus Christ truly is for everyone and anyone. No matter who you are, no matter what you have done, no matter what anyone thinks about you, the Gospel is for YOU. It has been so amazing to see the Atonement change this women and her life.
As my very first transfer comes to a close, I have loved looking back at the last 6 weeks. They have been amazingly hard and amazingly wonderful. I have learned so much and grown so much. More than I ever thought possible! I have seen so many miracles, both small and large, and have seen a mighty change in people around me and in myself.
On paper, the results of the last 6 weeks might not look like much, but when the results of the last 6 weeks are put into eternal perspective, they are great and marvelous. They are priceless. It is really easy to get caught up in the worldly things of life and in numbers and in popularity, but at the end of the day, that is not what really matters. It is about how we treat others and what we give back to the God that gave us everything we have. Those are the things that really, truly matter.
I love you all so much and am so grateful for all the support and love you all offer me. Thank you again.
Until Next Time,
Sister Crawford
